LET'S SHAKE STIGMA
The history of this female health blog and VAVA Womb
This blog was born as VAVA Womb, a stigma shaking gynae health and self love brand. We are now dedicating this space to benefit those with MRKH syndrome, our stories, advice and awareness. MRKH spans subjects of body positivity, infertility, mental health, hormone health, sexual health and self esteem - so we know our voices could benefit many people, no matter their experiences. We are a fierce community here, ready to be heard!

Why We're Broadening Our Advocacy
One of the things that has become increasingly clear through our work in the MRKH community is that, whilst our diagnoses may be different, many of our experiences are not. When people think about conditions like MRKH, CAIS, Turner syndrome, Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), infertility and vaginismus, they often focus on the medical facts. But the reality of living with these conditions is about far more than a diagnosis on a piece of paper. For MRKH syndrome, we run a UK

The UK MRKH Care Gap
We are here to fight for equal, accessible and equitable healthcare for every MRKHer in the UK. Join our advocacy group and work here: https://www.mindovermrkh.org/mrkh-change MRKH care in the NHS is often described in two very different ways depending on where you sit in the system. For some patients, care can be timely, specialist and well coordinated. For others, access to information, referral routes and psychological and psychosexual support can be unclear or inconsisten

The MRKH Community Magazine - Bringing Our Story To Life
Have you heard about our zine project for MRKH syndrome? A printed keepsake, created by and for MRKHers. This magazine began with a simple but important idea…what would it look like to hold our stories in our hands? Not just as posts that disappear on a screen, but as something physical, something lasting, something we can return to. Issue 1 of the MRKH magazine will be a collection of artwork from MRKHers alongside creative writing, articles and contributions from artists an

Introducing The Rarely Project - growing and expanding Mind Over MRKH into something special.
Introducing The Rarely Project We want to share something important with you and bring you into the next chapter of our work together. For many of you, this space began through MRKH. Through shared experiences, conversations, meet ups, creative workshops, writing groups, WhatsApp chats and moments of support that did not exist before. What started small has grown into something real and meaningful. That will not change. We are still here for MRKH. We are still committed to Mi

MRKH - The invisible impact on body image
Founder, Ellamae Fullalove, reflects on beauty standards and MRKH syndrome. MRKH may be invisible but it still contributed negatively how I see myself I have spent years noticing every detail that felt “wrong” to me. A bigger nose, being taller than most girls, feet I have always thought looked odd, a hairline I felt I had to hide. These things built up over time until they shaped how I saw myself. I convinced myself I was ugly, not just a little different but too different.

Janelle Farabaugh So that no one ever has to feel alone in this experience ever again! Personally, I’ve never met anyone else with MRKH in daily life.
